Established in 1856, Hunter is a progressive British heritage brand that continues to evolve, building on its history of innovation and pioneering design.

A History of Protection
Hunter was founded by American entrepreneur Henry Lee Norris. Landing on Scottish soil, he founded the North British Rubber Company, later to be
known as Hunter. There he produced boots and other industrial items, using the newly patented and innovative vulcanisation process to create durable
rubber products.

Hunter Original

Spacing half  

Hunter Original stands at the heart of the brand – home of the Original boot and the world that surrounds it. Since 2014, the team has staged four
innovative catwalk shows at London Fashion Week, with new footwear styles, outerwear and accessories presented each season, alongside fresh
interpretations of the Original boot.

In a first for the brand, autumn/winter 2014 saw a show inspired by Hunter’s pioneering spirit and 160 year heritage. The runway was transformed into a
waterway, with the collection referencing expeditions into the extreme environments of deep sea and outer space.

Continuing in the spirit of the unexpected, both the spring/summer 2015 and autumn/winter 2015 collections were unveiled using unique and immersive
installations. With guests including Anna Wintour, Paul McCartney and Rita Ora, the SS15 show took place on the site of an atmospheric, Grade II listed
swimming pool in central London, while AW15 saw guests surrounded by waterfalls in a vast industrial space.

TFrom spring/summer 2016, Hunter celebrated its iconic connection with music festivals, taking reference from the muddy fields and distinctive tent-filled
landscapes. On the runway, lightweight nylon fabrics and the Original Clog were introduced, together with waterproof rubber and vinyl jackets. Guy-rope
fastenings on waxed cotton outerwear referenced the set and colourful tent fabric wrapped classic festival footwear.

Festival

Hunter continues to be chosen by festival goers the world over, bringing the unmistakeable spirit of the brand to the muddy fields of Glastonbury, Electric
Picnic and Wilderness, alongside a host of iconic UK-based and international festivals. These included Hunter Rock, our one-day festival in Taipei, which
featured some of the most exciting names in rock and dance music in Asia.

Glastonbury, with its unpredictable British weather, is the ultimate proving-ground for Hunter Original. Taking place in Somerset, in the West of England,
the mud-filled site provides the perfect terrain with the collection worn by many at the event, including the numerous celebrities in attendance. Kate Moss
first wore her Original Tall boots to Glastonbury in 2005, while recent years have seen Alexa Chung and Ellie Goulding in the Original Chelsea and
Cressida Bonas in the Original Tall. First-time festival goers love our Original Kids Wellingtons too.Hunter Field
Hunter Field

Building on our affinity with the countryside and heritage of pioneers, Hunter Field presents a new generation of technical products to protect against the
elements. Introduced in spring/summer 2015, an iconic new Hunter Field logo has been developed in Field Green, working in contrast to the red of Hunter Original.

Key to the collection are new and innovative updates to the Balmoral design and the Norris Field boot. Named after the company’s pioneering founder,
Henry Lee Norris, the new Wellington style fuses the unique design of the iconic Original Tall with developments to enhance durability.
The Boat Race

Creating designs for performance, Hunter Field is a supporter of events within the sporting and outdoor arena. As a longstanding official partner
of the The BNY Mellon Boat Races, Hunter produces boots worn by competitors in training, as well as immediately before and after the race.

Dating back more than 180 years, the prestigious event takes place between the crews of Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Clubs, rowing over the
course of four miles along the River Thames in London.

The Future of Hunter Field
Built on the design ethos of protection, intelligence and craftsmanship, Hunter Field creates products born from the development of pioneering
techniques and materials. The future of the brand category will see the manufacture of footwear and outerwear that harness new technologies, alongside
collaborations with experts to create advance products for outdoor lifestyles.

Hunter Regent Street

In 2014, Hunter opened its first global flagship on London’s iconic Regent Street. The award-winning store takes inspiration from the brand’s heritage;
rafters of a barn structure are seen through the entrance and LED box hedging references a formal country garden. The store houses the full Hunter
